Many people are dealing with addictions in their own way; some are doing something to fight it while others are not. Thankfully, if you are currently trying to fight an addiction, the following are a few recovery tips to consider.
Many people seek the feeling of being ‘high’ and euphoric, such as that ‘cloud nine’ or ‘over the moon’ feeling. Something similar to the rush of endorphins, such as when we fall in love or having accomplished something that took a lot of effort. As well as triggering other such derivatives as dopamine (the feel good vibe), or serotonin (the calm, peaceful kind of vibe).
However, unless all-natural alternatives to achieving these types of high are used, many unwanted side-effects may also come into play. This is because most man-made drugs contain harmful chemicals that are harsh and irritating for the human body to metabolize.
Consciously putting forth effort toward ‘Soul Work’ is important, every single day, if we ever hope to become our greatest version. This primarily means working on our happiness, passions, and truth.
Mostly, what these all require is to be true to oneself, as doing so is crucial to spiritual enlightenment.
By knowing ourselves we are better able to understand what it is we need (or desire) to live our best, happiest, most creative, rich, and abundant lifestyle. As opposed to what we think we need or want, or how other’s believe our lives should go.
An old soul is someone considered to have been around for many lifetimes. Someone whom has reincarnated over and over for hundreds or even thousands of lives to experience the many adventures of being human, and to balance the levels of their Soul’s karma. However, it doesn’t necessarily have to mean this if that isn’t something you believe in. Instead, perhaps you consider an old soul merely to be someone whom is wise beyond their years, and much more mature than other people their own age.
On a cosmic scale, souls range from infant, to child, to adult, and on through to an old Soul depending on the amount of lives they’ve had, and the level of their Soul’s current evolution. Yet whichever way you choose to look at it, several old souls exist in today’s World. Are you one of them?
The third eye chakra is the sixth major energy center out of seven, located between the eyes in the middle of the forehead, above the throat chakra and below the crown chakra. It is also called the Ajna Chakra in Sanskrit terms and is an integral part of Kundalini Meditation.
It is known to be our portal or ‘connection’ unto the cosmic Universe, also called the ‘seat of the soul’, for it is the chakra associated with the pineal gland (a small area of the brain associated with spiritual awakening).
Thus to elevate, enlighten, and invigorate the third eye chakra, common practice would suggest a number of things, one of which being to decalcify and detoxify the pineal gland.
We are all of us connected on many different levels and in many different ways. Everything is energy and operates at various frequencies – some seen and others, unseen. What we think, we create. As such we are all a part of the collective, global consciousness. Co-creators on this divine planet of abundance.
Through connecting minds and sharing ideas, opening ourselves up to new possibilities and furthering our potential – we are capable of achieving great things. That’s if we’re up to the challenge for if not, we’re also entirely capable of the opposite.
There is a valid difference between the Soul Self and the Supreme Self. Both may be similar in various ways, yet there are many differences that make them unique. You may have before asked the question; “Who am I?” – or – “What is consciousness?”.
These kind of questions can only be answered by looking inward and tapping into it’s source. Source being Universal energy, or as others would prefer to call ‘God’ or ‘Divine Source’. Here you’ll find not only yourself and the personal extension of source (Soul Self) that makes up who you are, but also find the Supreme Self which is connected to this God-like, Divine energy as a whole.
Most of us become all too easily preoccupied with thoughts, goals, and daily current events we lose sight of how far we’ve come and/or what’s right in front of us in each moment. We get caught up with perfectionism, societal idealism, and political correctness. These ways of thinking are usually instilled at a very young age, and further enhanced by the media, our own self-criticism, and the ‘system’ that keeps us indebted to slavery.
Yet throughout all of this, we always remain connected to spiritual, source energy. Our spirit guides (guardian angels), as well as our own higher Self/Soul, are always with us, and wish for us to remember some very important facts. They wish for us to see beyond the ego, and remember our true potential.
The ego isn’t inherently evil unto itself, it can in fact be used as a tool to propel us forward and become the person we wish to be. In the meanwhile however, while working through ego to become our greatest version, our spirit guides are here to remind us of our truth – even while the ego berates us with insulting self-criticism and judgment.
