Breath… the essential element of life. It is the first thing we take when stepping into the world and leave while stepping out of it. In this span, we take zillions of breaths. But, during this time, do we ever realize its connection with the mind and body? Do we ever notice the influence of our thoughts and physiology on the breath? Do we ever think how changing the breathing pattern can do wonders for the mind, body, and soul? Yes, that is right. Learning the art of controlling the breath can be great in improving one’s overall well-being, and this can be done through Pranayama.
The body is comprised of seven major energy centers (support points) rising up through the center of the spine, known as ‘chakras’. These chakra energy centers can become diluted and weighed down during moments of stress, anxiety, and day-to-day happenings that cause them to tighten up – make us feel ‘high strung’ or worn out.
One way to cleanse and heal them is to practice these quick, effective ways to open and balance the 7 major chakras, which is a meditation technique also known as Kundalini.
Everyone undergoes a spiritual awakening, or a spiritual cleansing at some point during their lives, whether they realize it or not. Life is a learning experience. We all grow and evolve at our own pace. There are times when this awakening is hard to keep up with because it sweeps us off our feet and forces us into the unknown of our future. Other times we experience a spiritual cleansing that helps us solidify our goals and work harder on our desired outcomes.
How many of these can you relate too and resonate with, on a Soul level?
In order to improve your life you must first realize it’s value. Sure it can be tough and at times, downright cruel, but even the bad times have their weight in worth. Suffering through states of boredom, depression, trauma, anxiety, stress, or anger can be utilized as a catalyst.
These misery-inducing thoughts contribute greatly to our evolution and help steer us toward more mature states of being and personal transformation. There is duality to everything and the sooner we can perceive the negativity as something other than useless, debilitating, and unnecessary – the sooner we can use it’s dark gifts to help us overcome our own internal suffering.
An old soul is someone considered to have been around for many lifetimes. Someone whom has reincarnated over and over for hundreds or even thousands of lives to experience the many adventures of being human, and to balance the levels of their Soul’s karma. However, it doesn’t necessarily have to mean this if that isn’t something you believe in. Instead, perhaps you consider an old soul merely to be someone whom is wise beyond their years, and much more mature than other people their own age.
On a cosmic scale, souls range from infant, to child, to adult, and on through to an old Soul depending on the amount of lives they’ve had, and the level of their Soul’s current evolution. Yet whichever way you choose to look at it, several old souls exist in today’s World. Are you one of them?
The third eye chakra is the sixth major energy center out of seven, located between the eyes in the middle of the forehead, above the throat chakra and below the crown chakra. It is also called the Ajna Chakra in Sanskrit terms and is an integral part of Kundalini Meditation.
It is known to be our portal or ‘connection’ unto the cosmic Universe, also called the ‘seat of the soul’, for it is the chakra associated with the pineal gland (a small area of the brain associated with spiritual awakening).
Thus to elevate, enlighten, and invigorate the third eye chakra, common practice would suggest a number of things, one of which being to decalcify and detoxify the pineal gland.
There is a grand shift taking place on the planet at this very moment in time. People from all walks of life, all over the face of the Earth, are awakening to their true power and inner calling. The beginning seeds of this movement first began back in the 60’s and 70’s when flower children were born, spreading their message of peace and love. Afterward, the global awakening of the collective consciousness truly began to pick up speed during the supposed ‘end of the world’ prediction based off Mayan calculations. Yet December 21st, 2012 was a stepping stone. An official marker that began the tail end of ‘The Age of Pisces’, and our current ventures into the start of ‘The Age of Aquarius’. Essentially, the cusp between both ages, the transition between the two, and the transformation into new levels of thinking and new-age ideas.
The end of one era, and the beginning of another.
If you’re reading this and are already doubtful that metaphysical, supernatural powers exist, your chances of tapping into these powers yourself become next to impossible. Peter Pan wasn’t entirely off his rocker when saying it’s necessary to “think happy thoughts” in order to fly. Developing, nurturing, and mastering superhuman type abilities is not impossible – though incredibly difficult, what it mostly takes is an unshakable, unwavering belief in oneself. A belief in your ability to unlock the hidden inner aspects of your consciousness in order to develop it’s potential.
