Love is usually a human experience of one person for another, and romantic love exists between two persons of the opposite (or same) sexual orientation and gender. Love and relationships go hand-in- hand! Love is an emotion, the most valuable treasure for any and every relationship. Love within a relationship enables closeness, trust, loyalty, and romance for the couple.
We all know there are obvious benefits to sleeping with someone else. The endorphins experienced during cuddle-sessions, the calories burned during intercourse, to the shared body heat when you’re freezing your toes off. Yet no one really talks about the benefits of sleeping alone.
These benefits range from an energetic and spiritual level for your soul’s expansion, as well as to a loving and romantic level with your life partner. Whether you sleep by yourself every night, or are in a relationship – setting aside a few nights a week (2-4) to sleep alone whether in a relationship or not, has the potential to provide several benefits on each of these levels.
Everyone’s sex drive is different and operates at various levels. From being asexual and difficult to arouse, to craving sex as often as possible, and every level in between. Whether you’re looking to become more easily stimulated, or more available to a partner who is after sex often, there are many ways to increase sex drive.
The Sun, Moon, Venus, and Mars placement of a man or woman says a lot about what they seek from a relationship. Both in terms of what they have to offer, as well as what they may seek from a potential romantic partner. You can take a look at these placements on your chart or that of another to see what sign they’re in and go from there.
Typically, the Sun sign is representative of the personality and characteristics on a Soul level, such as how we may perceive ourselves and the evolution of our Soul’s journey on an intrinsic level. The Moon symbolizes our wants and desires, as well as our emotional response to various stimuli. Mars is indicative of divine masculine energy, as well as action, consequence, and the solid traits you have to offer someone in a relationship, or in the bedroom. Whereas Venus represents divine feminine energy, universal love, and the solid traits you seek from a romantic and sexual partner.
Most all men of various ages around the World have woken up with an erection, in other words ‘morning wood’, at one point or another. It’s incredibly common and is known in the medical field as nocturnal penile tumescence, or NPT.
One of the more common excuses for this phenomenon you might hear is that he has to urinate real badly. That it’s a ‘pee-boner’. Yet this isn’t exactly true. According to Dr. Joseph Alukal, M.D., assistant professor of Urology, Obstetrics, and Gynecology at NYU Langone Medical Center;
“A guy in his 60’s or 70’s who wakes up and has to pee, that doesn’t happen anymore. It’s not directly related to that. The penis is a very strange organ in terms of its job and the way it traps blood inside it.”
As it turns out, NPT may happen at multiple times throughout the night as the body goes through various sleep cycles. There are about 4-5 cycles of R.E.M (rapid eye movement) sleep each night. Once the body enters this stage of sleep, norepinephrine decreases (a neuro-transmitter that causes vasoconstriction of penis blood vessels) and testosterone related actions begin to take place.
It’s no mystery that men and women are both sexy when they come across as aloof, coy, and mysterious. There’s a magical, mystical element to them that sparks a sense of danger and intrigue – an alluring uncertainty and open ‘void’ about them that anyone’s dream fantasy could be hiding behind. People are addicted to information, and knowledge is power (so they say), thus most of us wish to increase our intelligence. When key information is withheld, we become more attracted to it – people always want what they can’t have. So in being mysterious, the person gives off a vibe of untapped potential. A challenge.
In this way, mysterious people are sexy and seductive because they radiate a sense of deeply fascinating interest. Magnetizing others to them whom wish to be a part of the seemingly exclusive inner crowd of intellectual, thought-provoking, intimately connected people. And this seems happens whether they wish it to or not since their levels of mysterious curiosity grabs the attention of people everywhere they go.
Being a sexually active adult is entirely natural. A beautiful coupling of two living organisms whom share a connection/bond with one another. It’s when two consenting individuals decide to join together as one, fuse energies, and reach climax.
Yet what happens if the two of you find yourselves bored with the same usual sex routine? Or if you or your partner can’t quite ‘get there’? Or maybe you just want to make the entire experience even bigger, and that much more euphoric?
There is a science behind achieving orgasm, both for you and your male or female partner. Meaning there’s not much to them we don’t already know, which is great news beings as we can use this knowledge to our advantage to better heighten the libido and our state of arousal.
Are you single? Are you the only one of your friends who’s the loner of the bunch? The one that plays ‘third wheel’ often, or watches from a distance as your couple-friends make out with each other and hold hands all the time? Or… maybe you’re in a relationship but miss the days of being wild and free? Perhaps you’ve forgotten how it feels altogether and aren’t sure of your identity outside of being in a relationship?
Being single is often made out to be a bad thing, as though not being with someone makes you an outcast or feel as though you don’t belong. Yet once in a relationship, it’s sometimes all too easy to lose sight of who we are as an individual and all the beautiful things that make us unique. What works best is being able to find solid middle ground and enjoying the many fabulous perks that fall beneath the term ‘single’.
