It’s happened to everyone. Those moments when we try to act cool and come across as charming and suave – when in reality, we make a fool of ourselves and things become awkward. Both for you and for those around you. When things become awkward, they can be hard to bounce back from. Even if you attempt to laugh it off and move beyond the cringe-worthy moment, the awkward energy still has a way of lingering, and leaves an expectation of more awkwardness to ensue despite your best efforts.
So how do you avoid being painfully awkward when meeting someone new? Especially if it’s someone you’re attracted too? You should leave a lasting first impression, one that has them wanting more of your presence, making them interested and intrigued with you. Not making them feel
To be a runner, it doesn’t take much, aside from the will to run and an ability to propel yourself in a generally forward direction. Many people run nearly every day of the week, sometimes repeating the same routes day in and day out, and they’re completely happy with their running. Others like to intermix different types of running into their weekly ritual – some long runs, some short, some fast, some slow, some trails, or some hills, for example – and they find the interplay between all these different types of runs helps to make them fast, strong, and injury-free.
Another way to mix-up your running is to base your training around a particular race. Running simply for the sake of running is great, and for many people, that’s where their love of running begins and ends. For many others, however, having a race scheduled on the calendar helps enliven their training a little bit more and brings about an additional layer of accountability and structure to their weekly running. It might be a little nerve-wracking to have a race looming on your schedule, but it doesn’t have to be!
Mushrooms and LSD help treat anxiety, depression, and addiction in much the same way. In fact, there is quite a lot of evidence that suggests these two psychedelic ingredients can help even more than just these three symptoms. Fear, a sense of loneliness, doubt, and unease also make the list, among others.
Mushrooms, in particular, contain a psychoactive compound known as psilocybin, a mood-altering substance that can promote feelings of euphoria and contentful peace. With this in mind, psychedelic plants may very well be ready for a medical comeback considering many Native American tribes and other native cultures have used psilocybin in their medical practice.
However, it is difficult to provide any clear research into such topics beings as the Federal Government places LSD and mushrooms into the category of Schedule 1 drugs along with marijuana, ecstasy, heroin, methaqualone, and peyote.
There will be times we feel down or out of place. You are not alone! Millions of people around the world suffer from depression or sadness, feeling as if they aren’t going anywhere. Do you feel that way as well? It may be tough looking for a way to cope and pick yourself up. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. As long as you want to change and follow a few steps to live more positively and balanced, you’ll get there.
The question is: Where to start? I will show you five easy yet life-changing ways to live a more positive and balanced lifestyle.
Life flies by so fast! Does it not? Granted on occasion time seems to move like molasses and it feels like forever to get through certain days, yet on the grand scale, looking back at the course of your life, does it not seem to have flown by?
It’s easy to get caught up in the ‘day-to-day’ and overlook nearly everything we’ve been blessed with. Becoming so comfortable and accustomed to everything and everyone that we no longer focus on the happiness they bring. Instead, we become so secure in them we take them for granted. This leads to us more easily lending our focus and attention on less than desirable feelings such as what we yet lack and everything we’ve yet to do or get. Naturally this area of focus may lead to fear, doubt, anxiety, depression, or any number of negative emotion.
High acidity levels in the body may play a more important role in long-term health than most realize. Acid is consumed in a number of ways indicative of an unhealthy diet; via salts, fats, sugars, and carbohydrates. Many of our favorite foods are likely a contributor to levels of acid in the bodily system.
To counterbalance these high levels of acidity (such as when overeating junk foods), it’s recommended we maintain a healthy, optimal balance of both acid and alkaline. To lower levels of acid in the body, consume such foods as leafy greens, fruits, herbs, and other vegetables. Be sure to drink plenty of water as well. Thus, by maintaining a healthy level of both acids/alkaline, the body will run more efficiently, without side-effects.
Life doesn’t always go as planned and quite often it takes us places we never thought we’d end up. Sometimes it can be draining and downright disappointing, while other times it can be going well and leave us feeling on top of the moon.
Yet more often than not we come upon people who always have something to complain about, no matter how large or small that ‘something’ is. How many people do you know complain about something at least once a day? How many times do you yourself complain about something, if even to yourself, in your own mind?
It’s human nature to want more out of life and to aspire to greater heights. To yearn for new people, places, and things and to achieve our greatest potential. Yet at the end of the day, it boils down to happiness. How happy are you, truly?
